A Colorful Story: Lucy and Her Drawings

Lucy was a little girl who loved to draw. She had a box of crayons and a big notebook. Every day after school, Lucy sat by the window and drew pictures. She drew flowers, houses, and animals. Her favorite thing to draw was the sky.

One day, Lucy looked out the window and saw a rainbow. It was big and colorful. Lucy thought, "I want to draw the rainbow." She got her crayons and started drawing. She used red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. When she finished, her picture was very pretty.

Lucy’s brother, Sam, came into the room. He saw the picture and said, "Wow, Lucy! This is beautiful. Can I have it?" Lucy smiled and gave him the drawing. Sam was very happy. He put the picture on the wall in his room.

The next morning, Lucy had an idea. She wanted to make more pictures for her family. She drew a flower for her mother and a car for her father. Her parents were very proud and said, "Lucy, you are so talented!"

That weekend, Lucy’s grandmother came to visit. Lucy showed her all the pictures. Grandma said, "These are wonderful, Lucy. Can you draw something for me too?" Lucy asked, "What would you like, Grandma?" Grandma said, "I would like a picture of the moon."

That night, Lucy looked at the moon from her window. It was big and round. She used her crayons to draw it. She added stars and clouds too. The next day, she gave the picture to her grandma. Grandma said, "This is perfect. Thank you, Lucy."

Lucy felt very happy. She loved sharing her drawings with others. Every time she saw her pictures on the walls of her family’s rooms, she smiled. Lucy knew that her drawings made people happy, and that made her happy too.
